Oliver!

Once upon a time there was people on the very beginning of the show saying that Stephen Amell was the new Kristen Stewart with no expressions or emotions. And now here we are seeing him showing more emotions on the show, and particularly in this episode, than Kristen did in a lifetime with Twilight.

And Oliver is supposed to be emotionally crippled. You have to keep that in mind, too.

he’s supposed to be completely emotionally scarred and closed off, which i think stephen portrays wonderfully! especially when we see flashbacks because holy cow, the difference between his two olivers just is so amazing.

Agree. People complaining on his lack of facial expressions in the first episodes didn’t really get the character and Stephen’s choice on how to portray it.

Why is she acting like that?

FELICITY: “It feels really good having you inside me.
And by you I mean your voice.
And by me my ear.
I’ll stop talking right now.”
OLIVER: “That would me my preference.”

FELICITY: “Oliver, I need to show you what-… I’ve just totally walked on a thing… didn’t I?”
LAUREL: “I’m sorry… huh, who are you?”
FELICITY: “Nobody. I mean, I’m not nobody, I’m someone, obviously. And so are you, you’re Laurel… right? That Laurel? Gorgeous Laurel.”

“You’re scaring me.”
“What are you, eh? A trick, a trap?”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about!”
”(…) You really don’t, do you?”
“I’m more scared of you right now than anything else on that Tardis.”
“You’re just Clara, aren’t you?”
“Okay. I don’t know what the hell this is about, but the hug is really nice.”

Ask yourself, what will you sacrifice for what you believe?
